I wanted to share this picture with you.

I think it's beautiful.

This Canadian photographer Michael Chrisman used a pinhole camera fitted with photosensitive paper to make a 365-day exposure of the Toronto skyline from Jan. 1, 2011, to Dec. 31, 2011.

Positive thinking

When I left Holland more than a year ago I thought the world was lost.
Lost because I saw so many unhappy people.
Lost because I saw people treating each other in such an ugly way.

Now a year later I do believe that there is hope.
I meet so many people who do things different.
Who live there lives and are capable of truly loving each other.

I do not believe that the world will change over night.
And I do not believe that it will happen in a specific year.
But I do believe that the world is changing more drastically and rapidly than it changes normally.

You are a positive person.
You believe in love as a cure for a bleeding world.
And you believe that your positive actions have impact on how the world turns.

And your right.

We all have a part in how things go.
We should all treat each other with the same respect we have for our selves.
And then the world would change to a much nicer place.

P.s: You say I'm a positive person... and I have to say that I just truly believe that positive thinking and love is the solution to everything. I know that the way I think for some people is delusional or dreamy. But I don't care because it works for me :)

change

everyday is a new day. every second the world changes. and we are definitely a part of it.

i dont know much about 2012 nor the mayas so i dont really have an opinion. but to be honest, i dont think the world will change in one specific date or even in one specific year.

i want to make a good change in my world and hopefully that can mean a good change in other people's world... but in wont happen overnight - far from it.

i dont believe a revolution can occur without oppression and some form of violence. i prefer to take a different road.
i work on a slow (r)evolution of our my own consciousness.

i do believe i can change the world. but with the smallest actions. being kind to each other. acknowledging each other. not judging each other. knowing everyone is a person like me and giving them the exact respect i have for myself.

it may sound very normal and easy but its not. and you can see it just by looking around you. the way some people treat each other makes me so sad..

maybe the world wont change because i say hello to the men that sells newspapers outside of HEMA. but i am sure i made the day of that man a better day and hopefully he will make somebody else's day a better one as well.

i am not so interested in changing the economy or politics.. i believe that if we realize that every single person in this world is as important as we are, and therefore if we would treat each accordingly, things would change in a deeper way.

of course its all a big utopia and i am aware of that. but i will still do what i believe to me my part...

:) its difficult to explain. we once started talking about it through skype but i couldnt explain myself. maybe now i was more sucessfull..

(after a week of writing this text, i am reading it again and i am not sure.... i guess i am not a positive thinker as you are. i dont think the world will change just like that.. but you know what... maybe it will! and it is great to dream about it and try our best for it to happen!! )

I personaly feel that we are all playing a wrole into a huge change in the world. We are all part of a change of energies.
A new world. Just like the mayas said: Tomorrow the world will change into a world totally different from the world we know today.
